Diane missed a call — what now?
Step one: check the daily summary. Step two: forward me the Twilio log.
If Diane was supposed to answer a call and didn't, here's the triage order:
- Check the daily summary email. If the call is in the summary, she did answer — the caller may not have realized.
- Check your call forwarding rule on Twilio. If forwarding accidentally got disabled (sometimes happens after a phone provider change), calls bypass Diane entirely. Re-enable forwarding and the next call hits her.
- Check the Retell status page. If Retell had an outage during the call window, that's the explanation. We don't credit downtime caused by upstream providers, but we do investigate and switch providers if outages recur.
- If none of the above, email me. Include the caller phone number and approximate time. I pull the Twilio log + Retell session and tell you exactly what happened within the day.
