Everything Diane actually does
Not a list of things we plan to build. This is the shipped product — what Diane does on your calls, on your calendar, and in your dashboard, from the day she goes live. $0 setup, 7-day free trial, then from $199/mo CAD.
Answering the call
The part everyone thinks of first. Diane picks up on the calls that would otherwise ring out to voicemail.
Answers 24/7, day and night
Every call you can't take — after hours, mid-job, the lunch rush, the second line — gets answered by a natural voice with real turn-taking. She pauses, listens, and responds like a person, not a phone tree.
Keep your existing number
Nothing about your published number changes. You forward calls to Diane — every call, or only the ones you miss when nobody picks up and when you're already on the line.
Trained on your trade
Diane speaks HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. She knows a heat exchanger from a hot water tank, and she knows which of the two means somebody has no heat tonight.
Emergency triage
A burst pipe or a no-heat call in January isn't a routine booking. Diane recognises the real emergencies and your tech gets a text within seconds, with the caller's name, number, address, and the problem already captured.
Quotes your after-hours rate
The rate you set, quoted the way you'd quote it — so callers who won't pay it self-select out before your tech is in the truck.
Service-area triage
CrewDiane confirms the caller's postal code against the area you actually serve before she takes the job, so you stop booking work two hours outside your radius.
Multi-tech SMS routing
CrewUrgent calls go to the right tech by trade or by zone, not to a single catch-all number that somebody has to triage by hand at 2am.
Returning-caller recognition
CrewWhen a past customer calls back, their prior job context surfaces automatically — so Diane isn't asking a regular to explain who they are for the fourth time.
Clean handoff, never a dead end
Anything outside her scope goes straight to your cell or your on-call tech with the caller's details already in hand. No dropped callers, no dead ends, no "please try again later".
Custom voice persona
FleetDiane sounds like your company, not like a generic assistant — with branded caller ID on the calls she places.
Booking and scheduling
Answering is worthless if the job doesn't make it onto the calendar. Diane books it, and books it for the right amount of time.
Books into Google Calendar
The job lands on your real calendar while the caller is still on the line — not in a message queue for you to work through later.
Travel-time-aware scheduling
Every job is blocked for how long that kind of work actually takes, plus the drive to get there. Your day fits, and nobody is left sitting at home waiting for a truck that was never going to arrive.
Drag-and-drop day planner
Move a job and the day re-flows around it. Reschedule from your phone between calls without opening three tabs.
Running-late texts
When a job runs long, your tech taps one button and Diane texts the customers booked later that day to let them know. No calls from the truck, and fewer afternoon jobs lost because the morning backed up.
Multi-location support
FleetUp to three locations, each with its own number and its own service area, running under one account.
After the call
What keeps customers is everything that happens after Diane hangs up — the confirmations, the follow-ups, and the reviews that win the next call.
Booking confirmation texts
As soon as Diane books a job, the customer gets a confirmation text — so nobody forgets the appointment and your truck doesn't roll to an empty driveway.
Missed-call text-back
If a call ever does slip past, Diane texts that caller straight back, so the lead doesn't quietly move on to the next shop on Google.
Review requests
Three days after the job is done, Diane sends a friendly ask with your review link — turning finished work into the reviews that bring in the next caller.
The daily 7am summary
One email each morning: who called, what got booked, what needs you. Read it with your coffee and you already know your day.
Weekly recap
A weekly email with the numbers that matter — calls answered, jobs booked, emergencies caught — so you can see the trend, not just yesterday.
Monthly call summary report
CrewA deeper monthly rollup of call handling and outcomes, alongside priority email and phone support.
Weekly performance reporting
FleetCalls handled, jobs dispatched, and a full escalation log every week, with a dedicated account manager who reads it with you.
Your dashboard
One screen for the whole shop — no spreadsheet, no guessing which call turned into which job.
Every call, lead, and booking in one place
Log in any time and see what came in, what Diane did with it, and what it turned into. Recordings and transcripts attached to each one.
Live calendar view
The same calendar Diane books into, with drag-and-drop rescheduling and unscheduled jobs waiting in a side rail.
Self-serve billing
Pick your plan, switch monthly to annual, or cancel in one click from inside the dashboard. No email to a support queue, no retention call.
Tune Diane as your business changes
New service, new after-hours rate, a changed service area — tell us and Diane is updated. Fleet accounts get a scheduled quarterly retraining pass on top.
Diane Chat — your website too
Half the people who land on your website never pick up the phone. Diane answers them where they already are.
The same Diane, in your chat bubble
She books appointments, answers questions about your services and pricing, and captures the lead — day or night, on the site you already have.
Sold as an add-on or on its own
Bolt it onto a phone plan, or run it standalone if the phone is already covered.
Data, privacy, and Canadian handling
This product handles real callers' names, numbers, and addresses. How that data is treated is part of the product, not a footnote.
Caller PII is scrubbed before storage
Sensitive details are stripped out of call data before anything is written down, and expired caller information is deleted automatically on a schedule.
You keep every call recording
The recordings are yours. If you leave, you leave with them.
Call-recording disclosure built in
Disclosure is handled the way Alberta and CRTC rules expect, rather than left for you to work out.
PIPEDA-aware, with documented subprocessors
Privacy controls are built with PIPEDA in mind and every subprocessor that touches your data is written down where you can read it.
Canadian company, Canadian dollars
Built and run in Sherwood Park, Alberta, billed in CAD. Most AI receptionists are US tools with US billing and no local team to call.
Payments through Stripe
Card details go to Stripe (PCI-DSS), never to us. We never see or store a card number.
Setup and support
The done-for-you part. You are not handed a dashboard and wished luck.
Built from a real conversation, not a form
A one-on-one call with the founder maps how your shop actually runs — your pricing, your service area, your emergency protocol, the calls that go straight to you. That becomes the knowledge graph Diane answers from.
Live in 48 hours
You hear Diane on your own number and tell us what to sharpen until she sounds like part of your team. Fleet accounts go live in 24.
Start it yourself, or hand it off
Sign up online and configure it in minutes, or have Jared build it on your real number and hand you the keys. Same price either way.
Assisted field-service integration
CrewWe help wire Diane into the field-service system you already run, so bookings land where your team is already looking.

Our other product
HeyDiane Visits
Scheduling, routing, safety check-ins, and confidential case notes for children's services and community mental-health agencies. A different product with its own feature set.
Questions about the feature set
Do I get all of these features on the entry plan?
Most of them. Shop ($199/mo) includes 24/7 answering, emergency triage, calendar booking with travel time, the confirmation, text-back and review messages, the owner dashboard, and the full data-handling and privacy set. The features marked Crew or Fleet on this page are the ones that unlock higher up — routing across multiple techs, service-area triage, field-service integration, multi-location, and a custom voice.
Can I turn features off?
Yes. Diane is configured to your business before she goes live, and anything on this list can be switched off if it doesn't fit how you work. Review requests and missed-call text-backs are the two most commonly turned off, and that's fine — you tell us and they're off.
Is any of this an add-on I pay extra for?
Within a plan, no — the features listed for your tier are included in the monthly price. Diane Chat, the website chat bubble, is the one separate product: it is sold as an add-on to a phone plan or standalone.
What does it cost?
